Code of Conduct

We believe in building a vibrant, competitive, and respectful volleyball community that showcases the talent and sportsmanship of Jacksonville athletes. By participating in this league, all players, captains, spectators, and staff agree to uphold the following standards of behavior:

1. Respect the Game

• Compete with intensity and passion, but never at the cost of integrity.

• Abide by the official rules of volleyball and the specific guidelines set forth by the League.

• Respect referees and league staff — their decisions are final. Concerns can be raised respectfully through the appropriate channels.

2. Respect Each Other

• Treat teammates, opponents, officials, and staff with kindness, respect, and fairness.

• No trash talk, harassment, or discriminatory language or behavior will be tolerated.

• Encourage and uplift others — skill grows in a positive environment.

3. Represent the Community

• This league is a celebration of local talent. Represent your team and your city with pride.

• Whether you’re winning or losing, your behavior reflects on the League as a whole.

• Foster a welcoming environment for new and returning players alike.

4. Communicate Like Adults

• Handle conflicts maturely and constructively — on and off the court.

• Use official league channels to report issues or provide feedback.

• Keep social media posts about the league respectful, fun, and in the spirit of good sportsmanship.

5. Zero Tolerance Policy

The League maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:

• Physical violence or threats

• Bullying, harassment, or discrimination

• Intentional rule violations or cheating

• Drug or alcohol use during play

Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the League without refund.

6. Be a Good Teammate

• Show up on time. Communicate availability. Support your squad.

• Win with humility, lose with grace.

• This is your League — help keep it fun, fair, and community-driven.
